Activities and results
The project activities were designed to enable the Consortium members of reaching the desired objectives and results. These activities were planned to involve at different moments primary school teachers, schools’ managers and students, as well as researchers and research institutions from educational area and experts in this field.

that will be implemented over the 2-years of the project duration include:
Desk research, literature review and field work
to identify STEM based subjects suitable to be taught using tangible programming concepts and toolsA training event
dedicated to the teachers of the schools’ members of the consortiumCo-development of the project resources
toolkit of resources and activities with involvement of the target groups and end-users (the teachers and the students)Testing of the results in real scenarios
within four schools, involving different classrooms at different levels of primary schoolDevelopment of a train the teachers package
to equip further teachers with the necessary skills to use the resourcesOrganization of one dissemination event

THE FOLLOWING RESULTS ARE EXPECTED:
IO1-Using programming concepts
to stimulate learning of STEM subjects at primary school levels – detailed report providing guidance to schools and researchers on how can tangible programming resources and concepts be used in the classrooms, with young students, to foster their motivation for STEM-based subjects and to promote students’ inclusion.IO2-TangIn toolbox of resources
toolbox for school teachers and school managers composed of a set of activities to be implemented in daily classes and a teachers’ guide manual, supporting teachers in implementing those activities and to assess their impact in students learning and motivation. The toolbox will include specific activities or lessons covering different STEM-related topics at all levels of the primary education level.IO3-TangIn Teachers training package
detailed training package to train teachers on how to use the resources developed, mainly the toolbox of educational activities and the teachers’ guide, and also on how can they further develop new activities or lessors in other topics.FURTHERMORE, A SET OF EVENTS WILL BE ADDITIONALLY PROMOTED, INCLUDING:
a European train the teachers course enabling to train teachers of participants’ schools on how to use tangible programming and the TangIn toolbox while teaching STEM-based subjects
local peer-training actions where trained teachers will train other colleagues and engage them into the piloting of the resources
local pilot actions within the 4 participating schools
4 multiplier events promoted by schools addressing other schools and teachers as well as policy makers)
